e2Campus offers PA to Whelen Outdoor Loudspeakers

For large campuses and universities, getting the important and urgent messages across the students, faculties or any other concerned parties is always a difficult task. People are not always available, and when passing some urgent message, it’s always difficult to find the right person at the right time.

Omnilert LLC has unveiled the e2Campus emergency alert system, which can be used to broadcast voice announcements over Whelen Mass Outdoor Notification Systems.

e2Campus gives the authorized administrators the ability to produce live public address announcements using a net-connected mobile phone or PC from any location on or off campus. They can do this through many mediums such as wall-mounted or roof-mounted outdoor loudspeakers, PA systems, or "giant voice" systems.

Available for use immediately, the system is and costs about $1 per user per year for the text messages. e2Campus voice service plans start at $841 per year and will increase as the number of the students and the area to be covered increases.

The Whelen outdoor public address systems help e2Campus emergency alert system to broadcast voice announcements through them. Using a combination of these two services, campus administrators can make announcements over a centralized interface, which will reach to various spots like campus loudspeakers, digital signs, alert beacons, websites, phones, mobile phones, e-mail accounts, and RSS readers accessible to visitors, students, faculty and staff. The Whelen outdoor public address system starts at $5,000. So the customers should first contact e2Campus for the Voice service upgrade and then they can contact Whelen to install outdoor loudspeakers on their campus.
