Globaltel Media Unveils Cherple


Globaltel Media has unveiled the pre-release version of its new application Cherple. According to the company, the new application enables two-way text communication between online computers and mobile wireless cellular devices.


 
In a world that excels in establishing communication between various devices, two-way text communication between online computers and mobile wireless cellular devices will work wonders for the countless users. Globaltel Media states that the new application from the company will open the doors of two way communication 1.5 billion online users with back-and-forth text-message conversations to any of the 3.3 billion wireless devices worldwide using standard SMS messaging.
 
“Our solution allows people in the U.S. who have friends and family overseas, or even just next door, to communicate using very simple and basic text technologies found on all U.S. mobile cellular phones,” Robert Sanchez, president and CEO of Globaltel Media said. “Cherple users don't need a new cell phone or cell phone data plan, won't have to download any cell phone software.”
 
Users can download the new version of Cherple directly from its web site www.cherple.com. An online user can start a conversation by entering a username and the destination phone number into the Cherple application. Within seconds a two-way "chat" is initiated between the online user and a U.S.-based mobile cellular phone.
 
Also, the company is making sure that everyone gets a piece of the action. In the coming days, Windows users can download this application for free along with Macintosh computer users. A version that supports MySpace (News - Alert) personal web pages via widget integration will also be available soon. The company states that the versions for Linux computers and will allow integration into Facebook (News - Alert) pages. 
 
In November last year, the company said that it was about to bring together the two most revolutionary communications technologies ever invented -- the Internet and the mobile wireless cellular phone. At that time, the company stated that the new application connects the on-line community to the world of mobile cell phone users using existing mobile messaging technology.
