InfoLogix Helps Hospitals on Mobility Infrastructure

InfoLogix has launched a new Strategic Mobility Assessment Service for hospitals. This solution is intended to help hospitals build and support a complete future-state mobility infrastructure.

InfoLogix is a provider of enterprise mobility and advanced wireless asset tracking solutions for the healthcare and commercial industries. They claim that their technologies increase the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of complex business and clinical processes.

"After performing thousands of site assessments for our clients, we have discovered that the demands of users and IT infrastructure are often not in alignment with the adoption of wireless technology at healthcare organizations," says David Gulian, president and CEO of InfoLogix. "The Strategic Mobility Assessment Service enables hospitals to leverage their investments in HIS systems to deliver better care through wireless technology, following a 2-3 year strategic plan that's fully scalable to meet future demands."

InfoLogix states that they provide mobile managed solutions, on-demand software applications, mobile infrastructure products, and strategic consulting services to more than 2,000 clients in North America including Kraft Foods, Merck and Company, General Electric, Kaiser Permanente, MultiCare Health System and Stanford School of Medicine.

Proliferations of wireless device initiatives that are addressed on a project-by-project basis are seen as a major test to hospitals. That includes multiple handheld and mobile devices, pagers, VoIP location tracking, and wireless medical equipment. By taking a holistic view of the people, processes and technology across the organization, InfoLogix’s new solution will provide a solution for healthcare organizations. The company says that the result is a 2-3 year strategic plan for mobility that improves patient care, safety, and financial results.

According to InfoLogix, healthcare institutes can use the solution to assess business queries such as the platform they ought to choose, getting undisturbed support for their needs, security issues and a valuable secure solution, work on patient safety and satisfaction and, in the end, means to improve productivity.

InfoLogix states that their team includes certified wireless network engineers, healthcare practitioners and consultants who have deployed mobility solutions for more than 1,500 healthcare and 800 commercial organizations, including more than 100,000 mobile devices in the field.
