KiGoo Offers Two-Way Link to Google and MS Outlook
By Anuradha Shukla TMCnet Contributing Editor
The free application KiGoo by Kayxo, running with Kayxo Insight technology, offers users a convenient two-way link to Google (News - Alert) and MS Outlook. The application enables Google users to fully manage their main calendar and contacts through the MS Outlook interface.
KiGoo can be easily installed, operates in real time and supports MS Outlook 2007. According to Kayxo’s sources, KiGoo users can create, read, update or delete appointments in their Google Calendar directly from MS Outlook in real time. This happens because the KiGoo application leverages Kayxo Insight platform’s .NET (News - Alert) extensibility to access directly to the Google API.
By enabling this capability, Kayxo technology acts as a bridge between any external API or database and MS Outlook, leveraging the low access MAPI protocol and avoiding the need for applications to deal with it directly.
KiGoo enables users to manage both Exchange and Google calendars in one program as well as allows them to check the availability status of all Google contacts who share their information.
Providing lightweight access to information from different sources, Kayxo Insight enables managing the information within Microsoft (News - Alert) Outlook. This powerful platform
accelerates the development of full-featured .NET applications inside Microsoft Outlook.
Kayxo A/S is an international software vendor with offices in Denmark, Argentina and the U.S. The company provides OBA (Office Business Applications) tools that connect Line of Business (LOB) systems with the Microsoft messaging platform (Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Outlook).
