Adea Inc's Ocelli Offers Enhanced Search Facility for SAP


Dallas-based Adea, Inc., a company that is focused on consulting, information technology (IT) services and SAP (News - Alert) solutions, has launched Ocelli, a google connector that enables businesses to conduct rapid, accurate and secure searches in an SAP environment.


 
Ocelli, the company says, will be available on mobile devices such as BlackBerry (News - Alert) and iPhone by the end of 2008.
 
Powered with Google technology, Ocelli enables enhanced searching data on SAP.
The search and reporting capabilities are role-based, simple to customize and can be a key enabler for business intelligence initiatives.
 
Some of the advantages of the Ocelli, the Adea-Google (News - Alert)-connector includes: single point of access to SAP search and content, based on simple and intuitive Google User Interface; central search repository for SAP documents, objects and BW reports; role-based access for secure search retrieval; and serving and quick navigation to back-end SAP business content.
 
Several leading companies are deploying Ocelli's innovative framework, which includes, one of the largest U.S. defense contractors and a billion dollar retail company based in Dallas, Texas.
