A strategic alliance has been arrived at by LBi Software Engineering and Invores Systems, wherein the two companies have decided to jointly market and provide automated customer self-service solutions.
LBi Software Engineering, from its headquarters in Woodbury, New York, is a developer of custom applications that are particularly useful for filling gaps left by off-the-shelf software or enterprise applications (HCM/ERP/CRM). Building on 25 years of experience, the company serves IT organizations around the U.S. with a range of services that include front-end needs analysis and program design, as well as production support. LBi also offers expertise in the fields of Employee Benefits and Payroll, Human Resource Management, Insurance, Brokerage, and Banking.
The privately held software development company Invores Systems, which has its headquarters in Oyster Bay, New York, offers solutions that assist corporations with the migration process from legacy self-service environments to standards-based VoIP
and VoiceXML (News - Alert) systems, which are found to be more scaleable and cost-effective. The company’s main offering is Interactive Voice Web self service solutions offered to commercial enterprises, service providers, and government organizations. It also offers licensed software and services that automate customer contact business processes via telephone, using existing web infrastructure and IP
telephony. Invores solutions can be utilized as a premise based implementation or even as a hosted service.
LBi and Invores are both experienced providers of customer self-service solutions. LBi is reputed as the creator of one of the first telephone-based self-service benefit enrollment programs that was built specifically for a financial service environment. Where previously, a large number of data entry errors were inescapable, now, the process has been automated to ensure higher accuracy, efficiency, and employee satisfaction and simultaneously decreases costs.
“Both companies have watched demands grow in the telephony market, so it was natural for us to formalize our relationship with this strategic alliance,” stated president of LBi Software Engineering Richard Teed. “By supplementing our customized application development expertise with Invores’ Interactive Voice Web self-service solutions, we position ourselves to capitalize on this growing opportunity with current and future clients.”
“As a result of our new relationship with LBi, we will be able to expand our hosted applications services with customized software that meets the unique needs of our clients,” commented Debra Altschuler, vice president of Invores Systems. “This is an area of our business we plan to explore and grow further.”
