McDonald's Now Accepting Mobile Coupons from Cellfire
By Stefania Viscusi Assignment Desk Editor
Cellfire (News - Alert), a provider of mobile coupons and discount offers, has announced a new partnership with McDonald's that will allow participating restaurants to offer consumers a free iced coffee for using Cellfire's mobile coupons.
Cellfire offers consumers a fast and convenient way to save money on the things they want to buy. Not only do mobile coupons do away with the need to clip away paper ads, they also make it much easier to search for available discounts and coupons right from a user's mobile phone.
“Cellfire is appealing because it is easy to use and helps consumers interested both in saving money and enjoying McDonald’s,” said Rob Sparrer, a local McDonald’s owner/operator.
Once consumers upload the McDonald's coupon from Cellfire to their mobile phone, they need only show the offer on the phone's screen when ordering to receive the discount. Also, as a Cellfire user, consumers will be offered an array of other discounts from McDonald's and other retailers and services in the future.
“Like our partner, McDonald’s, Cellfire offers consumers convenience and value,” said Brent Dusing, CEO of Cellfire. “Cellfire enables consumers to save money at their favorite stores and restaurants without the hassle of clipping, printing or forgetting their coupons — the coupons are always available on their mobile phone.”
Cellfire is an easy to use application-based service that automatically delivers savings directly to consumers based on their geographic location.
The new promotion for a free iced coffee from McDonald’s is set to highlight the restaurants newest iced coffee beverage and will run from April 7 through April 27 at participating restaurants throughout Utah, western Wyoming and eastern Nevada. Consumers can access Cellfire at www.cellfire.com or by texting “mcd” to 22888 using their mobile phone.
