Greystripe Strikes a Big Deal

Los Angeles-based Mocondi’s mobile social network Me You has partnered with Greystripe to offer over 800 free mobile games to its customers.

Analysts have called it a win-win deal.

Yet the deal is more profitable to Greystripe because Mocondi's on-deck partners include mobile giants such as Vodafone (News - Alert) and 3 Italy. If everything went as expected, Greystripe can access to 45 million consumers over the years as the partnership allows game developer to extend their products and services into an on-device portal.

Consumers of Me You had to pay for downloading video, games, and music. Now Greystripe may enable Mocondi to offer such applications free and earn ad revenues in return for the service.

Greystripe's Adwrap technology include Vivendi Games Mobile, Hands-On Mobile (News - Alert), Skyzone, Punch Entertainment, and Digital Chocolate.

Following the partnership, MeYou users browse through the catalog and download desired games, recommend them to other users, or share them Web-to-mobile or mobile-to-mobile for free.

"Mobile social networks are an ideal place for users to discover and share ad-supported mobile games and we are thrilled to provide MoConDi's users with our catalog," said Alvaro Bravo, VP of Business Development at Greystripe.

"We are thrilled to enter into a partnership with Greystripe. They are pioneering ad-supported mobile games and provide the best quality and quantity of entertainment for our audience," said JT Klepp, CEO of MoConDi.
