4ipnet has introduced its Internet access and management solutions for WISP (Wireless Internet Service Providers) business operations.

One of the important tasks of WISPs is to distribute Internet traffic and value-added services to apartments or offices in an MDU (Multiple Dwelling Unit) or MTU (Multiple Tenant Unit) by deploying wireless LAN.

 

Opportunities and challenges are increasing for WISPs, especially with the increase in the public use of wireless Internet access and a demand for high-speed Internet access and easier and more cost-efficient solutions to reach as many customers as possible.

 

In order to deliver fast broadband access, many WISPs are using wireless equipments operating at 2.4 GHz bands, which is a license-exempt spectrum.

CPE100 can also be used for Point-to-Multipoint Bandwidth Delivery, which serves as an Access Point (News - Alert), to provide wireless Internet connectivity on an outdoor campus or inside a building.
