New ANS Mobile Movie Network Connects Viewers

Ettix Software Solutions an Application Service Provider, and PathFinder World Video, a distributor of niche and ethnic programming, in conjunction with ANS (News - Alert)-TV, announced the launch of ANS-The Mobile Movie Network.

The new network will utilize the Tulix Mobile software and hosting platform, to deliver video content, on a subscription basis, to iPhones, smartphones utilizing Windows Mobile Media and all 3GP cell phones independent of telephone carrier.

A dedicated Web site, www.ansmovie.com, will enable users to access ANS-The Mobile Movie Network where they can see previews of the full range of programming available and can sign up for membership.

Yusef Muhammad, president of ANS-TV said in a statement that ANS Mobile is a fresh new way for network to reach viewers. He pointed out that the 18-34 age demographic is abandoning traditional television and seeking new entertainment destinations.

Indicating that ANS TV is youthful, interactive and fresh, Muhammad added that ANS Mobile will connect with young viewers through vibrant and accordant programming made just for them. Programming comes from the talented producers of landmark shows like The Jamie Foxx Show, The Parkers, Sister Sister and The Steve Harvey Show.

Welcoming ANS-TV and PathFinder as production partners, Louis Lewow, vice president of Sales and Marketing for Ettix Software Solutions, said that Ettix has long believed it possesses a key platform by which content producers/providers can move to conquer and control the "Third Screen" (cell phone).

He said that with ANS-TV and PathFinder, they found the perfect aggregator of products aimed at the most appropriate demographic audience.

The companies have decided that ANS Mobile will start with 30 new titles for viewing and intend to add 15 new hours of mobile content every week. Officials expect this would make the content offering one of the most robust in the industry.
