SourcingPoint Solutions Makes its Risk Management Tools Accessible Through the Net
By Divya Narain TMCnet Contributing Editor
SourcingPoint Solutions has recently unveiled The PowerScreen system, a new online system that makes the task of performing background checks easier, faster and more cost-effective for organizations.
The system was put through comprehensive testing last year. It has now been released with a much more intuitive background screening services menu. A boon for decision-makers, the system allows them to conveniently and securely access SourcingPoint's entire PowerScreen line of hiring and risk management tools from any computer with an Internet browser. The system delivers screening results within seconds.
The system allows users to effortlessly carry out a range of operations like performing social security traces and credit history checks, reviewing motor vehicle records, searching criminal history data, accessing worker's compensation claim information and history, referencing a name against the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) "watch list," screen for drug use, and even verifying employment eligibility status (I-9 verification).
Using the system, property and rental managers can also review a prospective tenant's eviction records.
"We've learned through our research that more businesses are seeing the benefits of screening. And they're demanding fast access to accurate information without having to pay premium fees for it," John - a SourcingPoint Solutions Program Specialist.
"What's interesting is that this demand isn't contained within a certain market or segment. It's across the whole landscape,"
PowerScreen’s wide customer based includes medical transportation companies, real estate brokerages and property management firms, architectural offices and churches.
In addition to available packaged services for employment screening and tenant screening applications, users can also customize packages to suit their needs. All activity on the new system being transaction-based, users are charged only for completed screening orders. Account setup charges or monthly minimums are completely absent.
