New Powerline Solution from Corinex Creates Multimedia Networks over Existing Wiring

BPL technology firm Corinex Communications has launched the AV200 Powerline Ethernet Wall Mount F, a new adapter which supports the distribution of video on demand (VOD), IPTV, voice and broadband Internet access over existing electrical wires.

The home networking market is seeing considerable growth as consumers are increasingly demanding seamless delivery of multimedia content. Self installation of Digital Entertainment Platforms is a great concept which supports the continuity of home networking.

Corinex is a leading producer of networking products which enable the transmission of all forms of digital data over a already-existing cable infrastructure and through wireless connections. The technology is also known as Broadband over Powerline, or BPL.

Offering various networking possibilities, the new AV200 Powerline Ethernet Wall Mount F with a pass-through female outlet creates a secure, faster than wireless, 200 Mbps connection. And the installation takes just minutes.

The Wall Mount F has an integrated noise filter that eliminates noise and interference and guarantees perfect video streaming. Other than this, the Wall Mount F includes a video performance indicator that allows a consumer or telecom operator helpdesk to see the status of the Powerline networking in an instant via a multicolor LED.

Brian Donnelly, Corinex’s Vice President of Marketing, said in a press release: “The AV200 Powerline Ethernet Wall Mount F provides consumers with an easy-to-install alternative to wiring their entire home in an effort to create a digital home network.”

With transfer rates of up to 200 Mbps, this exceptional powerline solution from Corinex has ample bandwidth to stream several high quality video signals, including HDTV, and at the same time ensures seamless delivery of high speed internet access throughout the home. The product also features “frequency notching” which eliminates all possible interference.

The AV200 Powerline Ethernet Wall Mount F is available from today for a price of $124 MSRP.
