Keytouch Announces MultiPlay Chinese 1.0 Input Solution


Keytouch has announced the new version of MultiPlay Chinese 1.0 input solution. Using various operating systems, this input solution is being integrated into smart handheld devices with 12-keypad, QWERTY-keyboards, and even hybrid-style mobile devices by the operators. Keytouch Inc. is a technology licensing and product development company for mobile text input solutions.

MultiPlay Chinese input is specially aimed at the market for smart handheld devices in Asia Pacific. Providing support to input formats like Pinyin, Stroke, Changjie, and Zhu Yin, this input format an intuitive user interface with advanced predictive text, personalized user database, and auto-learning system. With this feature installed, even a regular mobile keypad can provide you PC-like functionality for easy and fast entry of text, symbols and numbers.

MultiPlay Chinese includes many new features like the ability to solve fuzzy pronunciation (Fuzzy tolerance), facility to choose to show/hide the OSD (Dynamic OSD design), facility to fix the first sound or fix any sound to reduce ambiguity (Fix-any) and an intuitive and practical UI design.

For those who are looking to type fast and easy, the input format has many features like next word/phase prediction, simplified spelling and full sentence output. It also provides opportunities for personalized editing and learning with features like phrase learning and PC style editing.

MultiPlay Chinese-enabled handsets are currently shipping to consumers in Taiwan and Hong Kong, on devices such as the HTC (News - Alert) Touch Dual, Dopod C720w, C730 and C500.
