OneAccess and BroadSoft Announce Interoperability to Offer VoIP Solutions

OneAccess (News - Alert) Networks, the European leader of enterprise access routers and professional multiplay IP devices, is all set to perform interoperability between OneAccess Integrated Access Devices (IADs) and BroadSoft's (News - Alert) BroadWorks VoIP platform. The interoperability is a part of OneAccess and BroadSoft’s aim to develop carry on with success with European telecom providers, especially in Germany.

The company has delivered new services to SMEs and large enterprises to facilitate migration from outdated TDM switches to SIP and IMS-based architectures. OneAccess offers the IADs used for interworking with legacy equipment, such as ISDN phones and TDM PBXs, which helps carriers make use of BroadSoft's Business Trunking feature set.

"OneAccess is the leading provider of enterprise routers in the European market. Participating in Connections is an opportunity for OneAccess to showcase our capabilities to operators worldwide,” said Bertrand Meis (News - Alert), CEO of OneAccess Networks. “In partnership with BroadSoft, we have a compelling proposition, and a proven track record of successful deployment of VoIP services through integrated access in Europe, particularly in the highly competitive German market."

BroadSoft's IMS-compliant BroadWorks platform provides broad range of VoIP applications, including hosted PBX, IP Centrex, mobile PBX (News - Alert), business trunking and residential broadband services fully integrated into a single VoIP application platform.

"Service providers can still deliver the benefits of VoIP to businesses that are not yet ready for a fully hosted solution, because OneAccess IADs allow BroadWorks applications to work with existing premises equipment,” said Scott Wharton, vice president of Marketing for BroadSoft. “OneAccess' vision and leadership in the European marketplace make it a valuable partner for BroadSoft, especially as we continue to expand into central and southern Europe."
