Tristan is the Director of Product Marketing for Switchvox at Digium. She co-founded Switchvox, previously known as Four Loop Technologies, in 2003. In late 2007, Switchvox was acquired by Digium, the Asterisk company, to serve the rapidly growing SMB market for VoIP phone systems. Prior to Switchvox, Tristan pioneered development into emerging markets for media delivery at Vivendi Universal Net USA / MP3.com. Her work included the design of new web services, handheld mp3 players, webpads and interactive TV. During her career at Vivendi, she was awarded a patent for a system of providing access to electronic works over a network.

Russell Bryant, Digium

Russell has been involved with Asterisk development since 2004 and has been employed by Digium since 2005. When Asterisk 1.0 was released at the first Astricon in 2004, Russell was named the Asterisk project's first release maintainer. He has since continued to play a significant role in Asterisk development, with responsibilities ranging from project management, software architecture, design, and development. Russell is currently the Engineering Manager for the team at Digium focused on Asterisk development. Russell graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering in the Fall of 2006. He is currently working on a Master's degree in Software Engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Gaston Draque, EUS Networks

Gaston Draque is the Director of Research and Development at EUS Networks. He has been working with company's information systems for the last 18 years, and has been working with open source solutions for the last 10. He started by working with databases in both desktop and client-server scenarios in the 90's, then moved to web based applications development and got introduced into Asterisk in 2005 and has been under that spell ever since. Combining web, database and software engineering best practices with the vast business possibilities that Asterisk provides, has been a perfect mix for this business oriented professional.

Jason is currently VP of Innovation for Voxeo Labs where he oversees development of key new initiatives for Voxeo. Most recently, Jason was a founder of Adhearsion, a widely used open-source voice development framework. Voxeo acquired Adhearsion in July, 2009 to create Voxeo Labs. Olle Johansson, Edvina AB

Olle E. Johansson is a consultant and entrepreneur. He is the founder of Edvina AB, a Swedish company focusing on Open Unified Communication - products and services based on open standards. Since 2002 Edvina is focused on VoIP solutions based on SIP and Open Source platforms. Edvina has been working with TCP/IP networking since 1989, including solutions for security, directory services and realtime communication. Olle is an active Asterisk developer with many years of experience of running Asterisk and Kamalio/OpenSER voip platforms in enterprise and service provider networks. Previously, Olle has been CTO of FTP Software, a US company noted on NASDAQ, senior technichal advisor to Voop, a VoIP Service provider and member of the board of several companies. Olle is currently a member of the advisory board for Opticaller, a Swedish company that creates PBX integration solutions for cell phones. Olle has participated in many international SIP interoperability test events with Asterisk and other products. He is a popular speaker at many conferences and teaches VoIP with Asterisk and Kamailio Open Source platforms in Europe and in the USA. Carter Manucy, FMPA

Carter Manucy is a self-tought IT geek that has brought a company up from the dark ages through the technical revolution of VoIP. For the last five years Carter has been using Asterisk - at first at home as an experiment, and later deploying numerous Asterisk servers to service power plants and offices alike. Since FMPA is a fairly small shop, Carter has had to figure out how to make the network function along side of VoIP deployments, and create secure communications to meet federal FERC guidelines for voice communications and data retention.

John Mulhollen is the Software Development Manager at First Call Response Services, a U.S.-based company that delivers strategic call center solutions to customers in the home services industry. Having worked with a variety of companies including TRW, SAIC, Honeywell, and Oracle, John possesses over 25 years experience in all aspects of database and software design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. His teams have developed both DTMF and voice-driven interactive voice response (IVR) systems for use by customers such as American Airlines, Sprint, Alltel, and Ford, as well as having developed a voice developer sandbox environment for Nuance. Windows 7 was not his idea, however.

Moises Silva, Sangoma Technologies

Moises Silva works as a Software Developer for Sangoma Technologies. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications from the Universidad de Guadalajara, México. He is the author of the openr2 library used by Asterisk for MFC-R2 signaling support and the maintainer for this signaling in Asterisk.
